I Thank You

Lord I thank You.

For You are great and grand and good.

You deserve honor and praise.

You are kind and rich, true and loving.

Faithful and just.

All You do is perfect.

You do all things wonderfully and without fail.

You are the goodness in life,

The beauty, the glory, the peace.

You give water in the desert,

strength to the weak,

bread to the hungry heart.

You are my hope, my future,

my extremely great reward.

You are Life and there is no breath outside of You.

You answer my questions,

change my mistakes, make everything right.

You do these things because of Who You are

and what You have done:

Calvary where You made us one.

The freedom of Your love,

The liberty You won at great price.

You are great. There is none like You.

All goodness is in you, and there is so much

You can do as we believe in You.

I thank You for the meeting of my needs,

the changing of my life,

The great things You have in store.

You alone deserve to be magnified,

lifted up and praised.

There shall be no end of Your glory and beauty,

Your power and might, your love and compassion

for the weak and those who are out of the way.

Truly we are weak but You are strong.

You are our victory, our one glory,

Our salvation and the answer to everything we need.
